Oasis / Browser game / v0.12.4 Sandbox
Survive
Built with OasisA wheel game with a changing island around it.
A current example of the Oasis engine in use: animated scenery, procedural wheel materials, weather, and a layout that adapts between desktop and portrait screens. Game branding: Tanzaku 5.
The development
There’s a lot around the wheel.
The island, wheel, and interface are all part of the same real-time scene. The setting changes as the game moves through jungle, rock, fire, and diamond wheel states.
Oasis handles the component system, sprites, interface layout, shader materials, and effects. The electric rim, rainfall, swaying foliage, and eruption celebrations give the engine a very practical test.
The media below was captured from the running sandbox. The editor images on the Oasis page show the local project behind it.
